The Bank of Ideas Voting Day
The Bank of Ideas is a new initiative by Belfast 2024 that enables the people of Belfast to propose and collectively decide on creative projects for our city.
It’s time to cast your votes and choose what you want to fund in your area! Come on down to the Voting Day on 2 June in Belfast City Hall, any time from 2pm - 5pm
There'll be be circus workshops, drawing stations, mini boat-making, music from buskers, a roving performance from the Belfast Ukelele Jam and, of course, a Bank Manager and chocolate coins!.

Midsummer at the Lyric
by Lyric Theatre
Come experience the Lyric Theatre like you’ve never seen before! Set to illuminate the banks of the River Lagan with an extraordinary festival in July 2024. Midsummer at the Lyric will be a collaborative spectacle igniting the Lyric’s outdoor space along the River Lagan; creating a magical and mythical space for play, theatre and music.

An Droichead and Michael Keegan Dolan
Mar chuid den chlár Béal Feirste 2024, cruthóidh An Droichead agus Teaċ Daṁsa píosa amharclannaíochta ildisciplíneach úr faoi stiúir Michael Keegan Dolan.
An Droichead will create a new multi-disciplinary piece of dance theatre along with Teaċ Daṁsa, led by Michael Keegan Dolan.

Little Amal

A big Belfast welcome will be ready for Little Amal in May 2024. Little Amal, a 12-foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee child, will take a journey across our city to see the place we call home and make it her home for a weekend as she explores our places and enjoys experiences with our people. Midsummer dreams by the banks of the River Lagan
The Lyric Theatre Belfast has revealed exciting plans for their forthcoming Midsummer at the Lyric Festival as part of Belfast City Council’s Belfast 2024.
From Thurs 4 July - Sun 7 July 2024, the banks of the River Lagan will be transformed into a magical place with faeries, comedy and mischief including a first time outdoor theatre space for the festival's centrepiece, an adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Plus a range of inclusive, accessible community-led artistic collaborations including a community celebration on Sun 30 June.
